Steve Freeman

Steve is founder and Principal of Bridge Creek Consulting LLC, a payments consulting firm. With over 20 years experience developing and managing products and services in the payments industry, he uses a collaborative style, deep business and systems knowledge, and strategic analysis skills to help clients translate corporate business strategies into flexible, innovative and profitable payment solutions.

Since founding Bridge Creek in 2006, Steve has been helping Visa Inc.’s Global Risk and Product groups develop strategies, requirements, and product roadmaps for enhancement and global alignment of their account data compromise recovery programs and Interlink, Plus and Visa card products.

Before founding Bridge Creek, Steve was Senior Vice President with Visa International where he managed organizations responsible for strategy, product and service development, consulting/professional services, software development and global service management. He managed several large payment and E-commerce systems development projects with budgets ranging from $1 million to over $100 million and project teams of up to 150 Visa and vendor staff. Steve managed Visa's global debit card processing services for several years during which annual growth rates exceeded 50%.

Prior to joining Visa International, Steve was managing partner in two independent IT consulting and software development firms serving clients in the Financial Services and Transportation industries. Steve attended the University of Southern California and graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Business and a B.A. in English.
